Great salad at Rice Noodles Sacramento

Tracy L. | Jul 11, 2005 10:38 PM

DH and I stopped in for lunch at Rice Noodles the other day. I've tried many different dishes there, some are great and others are pretty average however I tried the Shrimp and Calamari Salad with Basil and it was incredible!!! The seafood was cooked to perfection and the dressing (probably made from chili/garlic sauce)was simple yet delicious. There was plenty of fresh mint and basil and of course lots of ground peanuts. They served it with a side of rice which made the ample enough for lunch and a snack for later. I wasn't hungry when I got there so it wasn't one of those situations where a big appetite can make things seem better than they are. It was also a bargain it at around $6. FYI they are closed on Sundays.
