I went to Marche Hawai to pick up some stuff and decided to eat at the Vietnamese counter inside the market. What a pleasant surprise!! I had the Pho Ga, the broth was very rich without being heavy, the noodles were just right and there was a good amount of chicken. It really hit the spot since I was craving hot soup. I also got the BBQ pork bank mi and it was very good; almost as good as Hung Phat on St-Denis. I'm so glad I tried it and look forward to trying their other offerings, like pho bo and cha bio. They also have Bun Bo Hue. It looks like a family run operation: dad and son in the back kitchen and mom up front . Very nice and friendly folks as well.
