Great mexican place in Fells Point

I can’t say enough about how much I like Rosita’s on Broadway in upper Fells Point.

It’s completely charming. The strange kitchy kind of chraming. There’s that clear plastic stuff covering all of the tables (the kind your grandparents put on all the furniture so that even if you’re sitting on the furniture, you’re never truly sitting on the furniture) There’s a jukebox in the corner that, seemingly completely at random, starts playing loud spanish fiesta music. And during lunch, the TV in the corner is set to Telemundo’s spanish soap operas.

I’ve been there twice now for lunch (both times trying to go to the famed broadway taco truck and both times finding that it wasn’t there). Their tacos are great. My friend got the tamales and they looked great too. Their menu is big, so you're bound to find something you like. And the owners are extremely friendly.

If you're heading north on Broadway, the restaurant is on the left. I can't remember the cross street, but it's up around Baltimore or Lombard. Near the GoodWill.

Try it. Especially if you’re looking for the taco truck and it’s not there.
