I cant say enough about how much I like Rositas on Broadway in upper Fells Point.
Its completely charming. The strange kitchy kind of chraming. Theres that clear plastic stuff covering all of the tables (the kind your grandparents put on all the furniture so that even if youre sitting on the furniture, youre never truly sitting on the furniture) Theres a jukebox in the corner that, seemingly completely at random, starts playing loud spanish fiesta music. And during lunch, the TV in the corner is set to Telemundos spanish soap operas.
Ive been there twice now for lunch (both times trying to go to the famed broadway taco truck and both times finding that it wasnt there). Their tacos are great. My friend got the tamales and they looked great too. Their menu is big, so you're bound to find something you like. And the owners are extremely friendly.
If you're heading north on Broadway, the restaurant is on the left. I can't remember the cross street, but it's up around Baltimore or Lombard. Near the GoodWill.
Try it. Especially if youre looking for the taco truck and its not there.
