Looking for a great Lobster Pot Pie to Go Go

torta basilica | Dec 11, 200207:02 PM     13

My mom is threatening to have us make lobster pot pies on Christmas Eve & if anyone has read our Gorgonzola Risotto thread, you'll understand that this is a very scary proposition. Have checked into the obvious places to purchase pre-made, but Aqua is $58 a pop - for 12 - 16 people, that's way too much. Anyone have any ideas about who else in WeHo, W LA, Bev Hills, or OC would let us pre-order, make & have to go for Christmas Eve? AND be super-delicious!?

Alternatively, any links to fairly uncomplicated Lobster Pot Pie recipes (I might use pre-made puff pastry) that are super yummy? I'll have someone hide the knives before we start & take total control over the ingredients & prep - and a whole lot less wine this time.
