Great gelato in Shinjuku

After a long day of Shinjuku shopping, finishing up with a perusal of Takashimaya's ground floor food court, we stopped on a whim at Panciera Gelato, our eyes caught by the beautiful green of the green tea gelato. We sampled four flavors: green tea, panna cotta, black sesame, grapefruit. All flavors were sublime. The grapefruit was almost not sweet at all, but with perfect, delicious grapefruit flavor. The other flavors were equally delicious. This gelato is much better than anything I've tasted in New York, where I think I've covered the gelato bases. Friends tell me that this isn't even the best in Tokyo, so I can't wait to try something better.
