A great croissant

Wanted to plug the Amuse cafe in Venice- Abbot Kinney Blvd.
I had a wonderful croissant there this morning with the wife. Just like in France- it had a hard crust with hollow interior; and it was baked to a deep brown-some may say burnt who don't know the wonderful flavour such colour gives.
The place is owned by Brooke (Williamson?) and her boyfriend. Lunch was great but haven't gone for dinner yet.
