Great burgers in Tampa!

Tahitian Inn Cafe
601 S Dale Mabry Hwy
Tampa, FL 33609

Burger: I had the Joe Joe, which is a double cheesburger. The patties are thin (not McDs thin) so in total it isn't monstrously huge, but you need a good appetite. It was juicy and nicely seared on the outside. Comes with the usual condiments. The bun doesn't overwhelm the burger. Crazy appetites can get the Mojoe, a triple burger. There's also a single burger and a patty melt for lighter appetites.

Fries: To die for, in my opinion. Homemade from freshly cut potatoes. Thin, but not shoestring thin and brittle like Steak'N'Shake fries. Much like In-N-Out fries, actually.

Cafe: Clean and well lit, nicer than most, but it's still a coffee shop.

Cost: 7.75 + tax & tip
