What a beautiful town and the people are so friendly! Had the most wonderful evening at the 1913 Grill at the Amway Grand Hotel. The food was delicious, and the service and the presentations were impeccable. It's been years since I've had white glove service, and this place was fabulous! No detail was overlooked and the prices are extremely reasonable for the portions and the service.

Try the seafood bisque; creamy, rich and bursting with seafood and PEI mussels. My dinner partners had delicious steaks, and salmon dishes. The asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce was a real treat. The creme brulee was so large, could only eat a few bites. Definitely recommend to everyone if you're in town. A beautiful dining experience which gave us great memories.

Also dined at Noto's on 28th St. The room was very romantic and the food was delicious. The spinach salad was loaded with cranberries and walnuts. They did not skimp here. The cannelloni were very tasty and too much to eat for one sitting!

The Grand Rapids Brew House also on 28th St offers wonderful sandwiches, appetizers and of course great beer. The Octoberfest and Nut Brown Ale are real winners! If you're real hungry, try the skirt steak dinner, it's terrific!

Thank you Chowhounders for all the recommendations, very much enjoyed the town.
