This little restaurant at 92nd and Amsterdam has been open since April but seems to attract only folks in the neighborhood. I stopped by today with a friend for lunch. We split a large ultra-thin margherita pizza, and it was delicious. Our waiter says that the meatballs (available as a side order, with pastas, or in sandwiches) are delicious, and that the most popular item in the joint is the melanzane (with ziti, parmigiano, and fresh tomato). Has anyone tried any of these or other non-pizza dishes?
Pizzabolla delivers for free ten blocks north or south on the west side. I'm not sure the pizza would make it alive on delivery -- it is so thin, it would likely turn cold quickly.
