Good Sushi Place for Loud Out of Town Friends

roze | Aug 27, 2009 12:52 PM

I really didn't know any other way to put it. My friends are coming in from out of town and want some really good sushi. Of course I got a reservation at Yasuda. Then I began to second guess my self. First of all, we would be a group of 5. Two of the three have never been to the city before and are already so excited about coming they are going to be beyond pumped. Which is fine except they get LOUD! They just have loud laughs, loud voices and honestly can be a little too much for even me.

Now i"m thinking Yasuda is a little too calm for them (plus I love Yasuda and really don't want to piss him off:) We want some good sushi but maybe in a little more fun of an atmosphere? I'm thinking maybe one of the Haru's? Maybe the one in Times Square (I know, I know- I haven't ever eaten in Times Square but these are out of towners...I know I will end up there at some point)

I would welcme other suggestions though- maybe Lan? I've never been but heard good things...Le Miu used to be my back up in these sorts of situations :( Jewel Bako? Thanks!
