Anywhere good for supper near Old St. Pat's?

Italian, Middle Eastern, chicken, anything above average. Old St. Pat's is at Adams and DesPlaines. I've read the recent Lyric Opera thread, and I'm familiar with Greektown, Berghoff, Miller's, and Italian Village, but I'm unfamiliar with what's good on Wells, DesPlaines, Jefferson, Canal, et al. Thanks.

(In the spirit of remembering Irv Kupcinet, was Cafe Bohemia the place kitty-corner from the NW corner of Union Station whose proprietor, Jim somebody, made an annual prediction, duly reported in Kup's column, of what kind of winter we'd have based on the amount of fat on the bear meat he got for his restaurant? Did the Bulls' Johnny "Red" Kerr then operate a place on this site? Is it now a Bennigan's?)
