The diners: out of towners, one avid foodie and one slightly adventurous meat & potato guy who don't want to have to yell to hear each other over dinner :-). Will be in ATL for 3 days.
We love the Atlanta food scene. Just so you know where we've already tried, over the past few years we've eaten at Holeman & Finch, Woodfire Grill, JCT Kitchen, Sotto Sotto, Muss & Turner's, Local 3, Atmosphere, La Grotta, Leon's, Taqueria Del Sol, Farm Burger, Tasty China, Tasty China 2, Gu's ... and oh my, why did Bakeshop close, their almond croissants were to die for.
Of the above, our fav's are probably Local 3 (foodie) and Atmosphere (non-foodie) - both more consistent than we've found some of the others. We're not picky about cuisine, tho fav's are asian & italian. We don't mind driving - we range from Decatur to Marietta and all points in between.
We're looking for some moderately priced restaurants with a really solid menu. I have some options for a nice night on the town, but we would like to stay low key for a couple of the nights. Any suggestions?
