I thought for sure Wilson Farms would be the best place but they were really big and wide and although I have never actually made pickles before, I figured they would be really seedy and not crisp, and not fit well in the jar. they had small pickles in a bag called Armenian Cucumbers, but they seemed too small and thick skinned.. So have I missed pickling season altogether , or is there such a thing as a good pickling cuke to be found now from somewhere? Also can you put green tomatoes and cukes together or do they need separate jars? thanxs!
