Good, inexpensive Sushi in Santa Monica

It's in an odd location -- but at the corner of Ocean Park and Lincoln is an old breakfast/lunch diner named Thomas'. Diner is still there and operative, but from lunch on, they share the space with Fukai Sushi. Afraid of sushi in a diner, we began small with a bowl of udon (about $6) that came with a California roll. The roll was so good that we tried their lunch special - pick two items (from sushi rolls, tempura etc) for under $7 - and that was very good. We've experimented with some basic sushis -- maguro, toro, unagi -- and they have all been very good to excellent and amazingly cheap. Sharing the rent with the diner must really keep prices down.
