I am looking for the truly unique eating experiences that only you can help me find... Whether behind unmarked doors, secret passages, or simply in the back of a clothing store, nothing is too far-fetched.
Maybe there's a weird 24-hour cafeteria in a hospital that happens to have amazing Manhattan Clam Chowder, or is there some lady who sells burritos out of her kitchen? Do you know of some food treasure in an idiosyncratic, odd, unexpected, or just-plain-hidden place that you would have never expected it to be... is there a guy selling fallafel out of the back of a 99 cent store in the basement of some small underground shopping center downtown? Is there a restaurant hidden in an alley somewhere where you have to knock on a door with a secret knock to get in? Is there a restaurant that you enter through an unmarked elevator off the street to get to??? Maybe you need to be a member of some organization to gain entry. Please share these hidden treasures with me... I'm hungry!
