Walking through the Saigon West Mall in Eden Center, I saw there is a new-ish outpost of Gom Tang E, a Korean place which evidently has a Centreville location. In the window is an industrial-sized vat for their seolleong tang, or ox bone soup. The menu also has galbi jjim (braised pork ribs), which I don't see on menus here. Unfortunately it is $46 and feeds about 5 people. The woman working there did not speak English well enough to be able to tell me why they don't offer a smaller portion. They also offer goat soup and goat stew, chicken and ginseng soup, and duck soup, all specialties that I rarely find on Korean menus. Seems like it's mostly a soup/stew place.
Does anyone have any experience with Gom Tang E?
