A restaurant on the North East corner of Atlantic and Olympic is the home of simply succulent birria. The fact that pupusas are served is a minor factor, king here is Birria. We were served a dish of tender stew, almost heavenly broth (not a scrap of fat) and a load of chopped onion, parsley/cilantro, limes and radishes, side of refried beans with cheese (white) and rice. Usually I have kind of a let down feeling after lunch - the birria was like rocket fuel. Have to try it again soon. Homemade horchata too as were the tortillas. Fun place. Just says Restaurant Salvadorean, Puppusas (BIRRIA) so you know what to expect! The Hounds were happy.
