Best tacos in Manhattan. Even if they're not the traditional variety. But who cares.
I thought I had missed my chance to try out this pop-up, but they've decided to stay for a couple of more weeks, at least.
The tacos are made from Indian flatbread (or parathas), and come in a handful of varieties, including a couple of vegetarian(ish) ones. I had the lamb shoulder (braised with red achiote paste) with tzatziki, and topped with eggplant salsa. Great, great stuff.
And if you want something sweet to end your meal, get the mascapone filled churros.
