Yesterday I bought some gnocchi at my local Monoprix... I have done them from scratch a few times before, but just couldn't spend the time yesterday. They were surprisingly ok, but then I realized I have no point of comparison for them. I don't know what good gnocchi is because I've never had it. Although my homemade gnocchi were richer taste-wise, I must admit the texture was pretty dense (not more dense than the store-bought ones). And when I see critics describing perfect gnocchi as little light, fluffy pillows, I can't say the gnocchi I had could be described that way.
I know there's some talk about italian places not being that great in Paris, but I actually don't care if the restaurant is italian or not, I just want to taste great gnocchi.
So where is the place where you had the best gnocchi in Paris ?
