The seasons are changing and the weather is getting cool so it is becoming Gluwein and/or Feuerzangenbowle time! (German spiced red wines served warm)
I am hoping to serve either of these at an upcoming house party. If you know of a good recipe please pass it on (got a few from the internet, but would be happy to have one personally recommmended).
The main reason for this posting is to find the equipment to make the Feuerzangenbowle (literally fire tong punch). I am in search of a Feuerzanger and the required sugar cones (Zuckerhut). If you know of a place in NYC that I can get these, please let me know!
