Once again my christmas shopping has taken me to indulgent food. Last year I sent American Caviar with caviar servings etc... this year I was considering truffled foie gras (comes in a tin from dean & deluca among other places). My questions: 1, has anyone tried it and 2, does the tin mean it doesn't need to be referigerated (questions re shipping)? 3, any better ideas? Recipients love this sort of thing but now have a young child and are down to 1 income so I like to give them a very indulgent adult night each year. Thanks for any input!
