I love using giardiniera on sandwiches, pizza, etc. The issue is it is packed in oil. I put what I am going to use in a strainer, and that helps. I thought about rinsing it, but wondered if that would rinse away flavor and make it soggy.
I know you can buy/make pickled giardiniera, but I am not a big fan of that. Anything else people do to get rid of all that oil?
