George's Spanish and American Restaurant

1 Graham Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11206

The only way to dine in Bushwich is to dine here. they have been in business for years.

I had known of George's for some time, but last year a Puerto Rican American I know, recommended this place to me, in our food and restaurant discussions.

I finally went and found this place, much more affording to an opportunistic dining experience than the smaller Cuchifritos places. The meats are amazingly delicious, and they serve mexican tacos, though limited to chicken and beef and pork (no tongue...etc).

Blood sausage, Roast Pork, Beef Sausage and other items such as the thick fatty chunks of deep fried pork slabs come as plates for about 6.50 to 8.00 dollars. That includes plantain salad etc. I have never had a plate.

Instead, I recommend a different way, maneuvering about the menu, in such places. That is to do a la carte. For instance, blood sausage is only 1.50 per piece, their larger meat sausages are 3.00, the pork and other items such as beef patties are also sold separately.

You can get all the items and more that one gets at Cuchifritos venues, in a nice sit down, with wait staff service. Very affordable prices.

The fish patty was similar to a pancake, but much more delicious and healthy. Both sausages are deep fried after you order them, so you could opt for them to be heated without the deep frier.

Use your eyes to order. And if you know Spanish, its a plus.

Service is optimal.
