GEORGE for lunch reception

CNW2000 | Jan 24, 2012 12:47 PM

We are a couple in our 30s, getting married on a Friday in June at City Hall Chambers. We only have 25 guests. I had originally thought about having lunch at Osgoode Hall Restaurant because it's a bit of a novelty for people who haven't been there before and the close proximity to take great pictures on the Osgoode grounds...even if the food isn't incredible, the menu pricing is pretty great.

Then we ran across George and we were smitten by the lovely courtyard, the historic building, and the food, all in close walking distance to City Hall too. My only concern is that the food is a little too fussy for a simple lunch.

Unfortunately, we aren't a large enough group that either contender will give us exclusive use of the space, so privacy at both is a bit of an issue.

Looking for experiences from people who have attended at either space for a group function? Any further recommendations before we pull the trigger and put down a deposit?
