A few weeks ago we had dinner at Garden's Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Has an amazing 5 Course Tasting Menu with Wines for $85.00. We brought another couple with us Saturday night to get the menu again. Only to be told that they no longer offer that option. We still had a quite excellent meal but it was not the same. The Asparagus and Lobster Salad was excellent at 17 dollars. Initially it seemed expensive, but, it had about 4 ounces of tail meat in it. The Lamb 3 Ways had excellent chops but the other 2 ways were just OK. Other Asparagus Salad had White Asparagus with a Poached Egg on top. The New York Steak got good reviews. Wife had a veggie plate that she liked. We had a warm Chocolate Dessert that was quite good. Not cheap. About $100.00 a person including tax and tip with 2 corkage charges. Who would have thought that a '87 Kendall Jackson Cabernet would be so good. I am not sure if we will be back very soon unless they bring back the Tasting Menu.
