I read about this place a while back, and decided to give it a try a couple of months ago. It's right by one of our facilities, and my job takes me up to the area several times a month. These folks really do a good job of "fusion", as you'll find everything from Vietnamese sandwiches to spring rolls to hamburgers to Spam & eggs. Their drinks are wonderful - with or without boba - and they make great slushies. I can't get away from the sandwiches, though. For $2.50, you get a roll with cucumber, pickled daikon, cilantro, carrots, jalapenos (optional), and either chicken or pork. It's the most delicious bargain in town, IMO. It's in a strip mall that has a Subway and a couple of other restaurants, right on the corner of Mercury Street and Clairmont Mesa Blvd. Here's the UT review, for more info:
