My Funky Lunch in Waltham-Ritcey's Seafood

chuck s | May 5, 2005 03:01 PM

Had a thought about going to one of Waltham's Mexican restaurants today considering the day, but my friend would not have anything to do with that. We ended up at Ritcey's Seafood on upper Moody St. Now for people who didn't know what I meant by funky try Ritcey's. My friend and I and one other person were the only ones under 65. Not that there is anything wrong with that. In fact the place was quite busy for lunch and it is truly a place "where everyone knows your name".

Now to the food. I had my usual clam roll hold the roll (watching my carbs) and they were quite good and plentiful. My friend went for the shrimp roll and the shrimp were not nearly as plentiful. Maybe there is a shortage. Anyway it was nice to revisit the place and it is good for anyone needing a clam fix in Waltham.
