need fun bar in East Bay/SF

foodnut | Jan 7, 200302:42 PM     2

I'm looking for a place to hold a small (but probably quite loud) pre-wedding get-together on a Thursday night in March.

I'm looking for a (full) bar, perhaps with some food component on the menu. Near a BART station would be good.
At a friend's wedding in NYC we found this fun BBQ joint that had silly mixed drinks that were served in fish bowls, not a lot of obnoxious frat boys (or I was too tipsy to remember), and nobody cared if you got loud or spilled beer on the floor. Jukebox preferred, but not imperative.

Any suggestions are welcome. Trader Vic's in Emeryville would be fun, but I think it's just waaaayyyy too quiet for our group.
