We're so full after eating in Kansas City!

As a thank you for the responses about my query of where to eat, here are my reviews.

Grand's the first afternoon - hungry from plane ride/escapade at rental car service, so we tried this spot. We must have looked like a bunch of tourists from another planet, because we had no idea what to order or even where to line up. Finally got it straight and since we were still confused about what food was what, we all got the beef sandwiches. They were good, I've never had such thinly sliced meat before. I'm used to pulled pork-style BBQ, so this was really different to me. Fries were good (I couldn't finish them all) and the baked beans were great, sweet and tangy. I can't say I liked the cole slaw too much, but maybe that's because I don't like green peppers and it had lots mixed in. Is this typical?

Fiorellas - BBQ twice in one day! The rehearsal dinner had this catered. I thought it was excellent, especially the burnt ends, and the chicken, which was super moist. I drowned it in extra BBQ sauce. Thier cole slaw is the way I like it, creamy with lots of celery seed. Potato salad kind of grainy. The ribs very tender and flavorful, eating them made me feel like it was truly summertime.

Winsteads on Saturday afternoon. More meat! Some at the table got "triples" (steakburgers) but I opted for a double and it was more than enough. The meat itself isn't that flavorful but the toppings were fresh and the onion rings were just the right mixture of crunchy, sweet, and greasy like it should be. Cherry lemonade was excellent. Vanilla shake had a fake vanilla flavor, which I split with someone, and I couldn't drink my share.

D'Bronx - Sunday late lunch. REAL NYC PIZZA!!! Hooray! Since I'm from Boston I'm always dying for this style of pizza and they came through. Chewy, foldable crust, nice tangy sauce, lots of cheese, fresh spinach and tons of garlic (requested as a topping). I am so happy I brought the rest home to have tonight. A whole pizza was 18, but it was 8 large slices.
I think I gained a few pounds this trip but it was worth it. KC is quite nice and we were impressed with how pretty it is. Thanks everyone :)
