A wonderfully tasty and wacky place in downtown Portsmouth. Offbeat veggie dishes for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner: e.g., we tried "the peasant": a mound of dirty rice, corn, carrots, and egg whites and a mound of black beans, chopped spinach and feta, delicious separately or together; and meat-free italian sausage with grilled peppers and onions. Excellent well done, i.e., partially burnt, home fries with most dishes. Also meat dishes. Breakfast served all day. Decor and wait staff a combination of '50s kitsch and '80s punk. Diner prices or slightly more.
