I started following a Nigella recipe for this and it was good but changed it a bit and am in love. Pan fry the Haloumi slices quickly and put on a plate then drizzle with lemon flavored oilve oil, I like the "O" brand and sprinkle with crushed peppers. Eat while the cheese is still warm. It is a whole party going on in your mouth. I don't have amounts and found that it is best to have that pan really hot so the cheese browns and doesn't melt too much. Give it a try when you need a quick simple appetizer.
