Fried cheese?

I love fried cheese, especially the Greek dish saganaki, but I prefer provolone. The Italians offer a version called provoleta but I cannot find it anywhere in the city. I would be happy with just the breaded, bar-food variety.

Any suggestions on where to find either would be greatly appreciated.
