Someone asked about 3 years ago(?) about fresh wasabi. I have never seen it myself, but this website:
claims to have grow-your-owns for sale.
Still, I don't see any grown/frozen LEAVES (roots?) available. I really don't want to "grow my own"; I'd just like some "fresh" stuff which is not grated and bottled. 20 years of Chinatown (and elsewhere) scouring, and nary a sighting.
Is there something inherently unstable about the plants, such that the "produce" is not forthcoming?
Really would like a leaf or a root to stir-fry with. Do I *really* need to grow my own?!
