I got my KitchenAid attachments (roller and cutters) yesterday. I had fresh spaghetti in no time. I couldn't get over how easy and fast it was. It was perfect. And by doing the dough in the cuisinart, it was a breeze. Not messy at all. You definitely need to get your sauce ready in advance as once the pasta goes in the water, it's done in about 3 minutes.
so here are my questions....any quick sauces that pair well with fresh spaghetti/fettucine?
and any interesting ravioli fillings? I'd like to try my hand at those soon. Any tips to make the process go smoothly are much appreciated!
What thickness do you roll your spaghetti, fettucine and ravioli to?
I hope the ease with which my first batch was made wasn't a fluke.
