I bought a beautiful fresh King mushroom today at the Farmers Mkt, and was going to saute in butter with garlic (suggested by mushroom farmer) but though I'd ask you all about other relatively simple ways to cook to show off it's flavors. Never had any of these before. Can you mushroom experts help?
I've got some hamburger and lots of fresh lettuces, some ripe tomatoes, some asparagus (not much), cilantro,some good french bread, etc.
I also got a cluster of pearl mushrooms. Any thoughts on these?
