Fresh green ume?

OK, it seems to be umeshu- and umeboshi-making time, but my mail order source for the fresh green ume has gone out of business. Mitsuwa NJ said yesterday (granted, this was on the phone, not always reliable) that they'd sold out already and probably would not get any more. Katagiri in midtown said they hadn't gotten any in yet, but probably would in the next week or so (they usually don't get that many, certainly not in bulk the way Mitsuwa always has done). And a produce place on 30th Avenue in Astoria had something that looked very like ume & was labelled "generic plum." (I think these were immature plums, not immature apricots.)

Any & all ideas/sources/etc. welcome. Last year's umeboshi came out very well, if a bit saltier than I'd hoped, but we've eaten almost all of them. I've re-used the ume from the last batch of umeshu (usually they are good for two batches), but the prospect of no more at-home ume experiments is disheartening ... .
