I hope someone can please tell me why Fox and Obel gets such high praise. We went for the first time on Saturday and found it to be just O.K. There are no aisles and it is difficult to maneuver a cart. Getting a cart past the deli counter proved impossible. Backing up to get away from the deli counter was almost as difficult. A man was filling some containers with olives and there was no room to pass, so we just waited. They do have some nice things. A great selection of balsamic vinegar and interesting pastas. Several of the salsas are available at my local Dominick"s (Higgins and Cumberland). The French baguette, highly praised on this board, was only fair. Panera is better. Am I missing something? We sort of enjoyed our visit, but it was nothing special.
