Foods unique to France to buy in Paris?

sisofdiva2 | Dec 3, 201406:57 PM     114

I'll be in Paris for nine days in the spring and would like to start compiling a list of food items to pick up there which I can't get at home- I'm in NYC, so I already can get some varieties of Mariage Freres tea and Maille mustard (for example). What can I find when in Paris that's tasty and unique to the general area? I'd also welcome cheese recommendations to buy!
