Would a foodmill do well with asparagus soup? Had a hard time with the fibers. Ended up improvising with an oriental latice-like dipper/fryer spoon thing I had after I tried running the cooked roasted asparagus in the blender. There were still huge gobs of gumpy, fibrous asparagus. And yes, I used thin asparagus stalks, roasted them, then put them in the stock.
It was messy and a pain, but I LOVE roasted asparagus soup! :)
I am interested in one also for tomatoes as the skins and seeds are supposed to be kept out.
