the Food Wall of Somerville

If you live in JP or have friends there (and one or the other is most likely the case), you know that JP loves Food Wall. I once had to disappoint a JP friend who for some reason wanted to celebrate his birthday in Somerville—he was all "it's 10:30 p.m., where's Somerville's Food Wall" and I had to say "stop trying to cross the street to Red House, *there is no Food Wall* in Union Square." (We went to Punjabi Dhaba instead.) Night in night out my friends will email "giving up on cooking dinner tonight, we didn't even get home 'til 10, time for Food Wall I don't even know why I bother consulting the menu." And it makes me envious. So... where IS Somerville's Food Wall? Do we have one? Cheap, greasy Chinese takeout that should be gross and is in fact kind of gross but is unaccountably delicious. All I can think of is that place on College Ave. that got in trouble for staying open after 2 a.m.... but I've never actually tried it.

To reemphasize, I don't mean GOOD Chinese restaurants. I mean cheap greasy yet weirdly delicious chop suey joints.
