Food reasons to relocate to Dublin?

vanderb | Oct 20, 201603:02 AM     5

I'm contemplating a company move to Dublin and have a lot of factors to weigh in the decision, I wanted to know about the food/restaurant scene in Dublin as a part of the decision making process. Where I live now (Eastern Europe) has good produce, but the restaurants are generally very dull and very limited Asian food options and the supermarkets have limited selection. I'm interested to know what the markets are like in Dublin, especially any regular farmer's markets and ethnic markets. Is there good selection of quality Asian or other ethnic restaurants (such as Mexican, or South American, or Caribbean, etc...)?

I've only been to Dublin once for work, and saw almost nothing and only ate at a few gastro-pubs near my hotel. I'll get a chance to go back and would like some things to investigate while there.

Appreciate any help from anyone left on this board... not a lot of action here in a long time.
