Flushing Food Court update - for mrnyc

HLing | Oct 4, 200212:06 PM     3

The place across from the upstairs Shanghai Snacks, the Xi An place had even better hand pulled noodles than the ones from downstairs! Well, this is different in that these are flatter and wider, almost like the Italian Papadelle. I got a Number 2, the lamb noodles, which came with a thick and rich broth, with tender pieces of lamb. It's going to be wonderful cold weather food.

Their dumpling/pan-fried bao were shaped like oval, over-sized dumplings, but had the bread texture of a bao. (usually these Shun jien bao are round in shape)The filling was meat and glass noodles. I'll have to have one hot to decide how much I like it, but it's good dough.
