I had a great meal a few weeks ago at Flavors near the Moolchand Flyover-- some think this restaurant is past it's prime but I really enjoyed it.
I had the gazpacho to start- the flavors were right on but it had been puréed and was a bit foamy on top- a bit strange but cooling in this heat.
I then had ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta, in a light tomato sauce, and these were delectable! The homemade pasta was very thin and delicate, the filling well seasoned, and the sauce flavorful and fresh. To end, I had the tiramisu, which was quite tasty, although it used slightly dry sponge cake instead of ladyfingers. However, the freshness of the marscapone was front and center, not overpowered by coffee or liqueur, which is just how I like it.
I know there are trendier places in town for Italian, but this remains a reasonably prices favorite.
