fish tonight/breakfast tomorrow - SOMA-reporting back on Tadich Bar/Grill

Thank you so much for the Tadich recommondation! I ate at the bar and had an excellent meal.
Started with a very necessary glass of pinot blanc. Appetizer was the dungess crab cake. Average overall, backfin crab. Negatives include: overwhelming spicy tomato sauce and some sort of a white sauce. Positives include: not much filler and it was sauteed nicely. Have had better, but also have had much worse. An adequate beginning, especially the wine. The server was very kind, attentive and called me young lady, which is nice at any age (:
Main course was the grilled halibut, steak fries, and green beans. I am not a big fan of steak fries, but they were cooked perfectly, not greasy and very potatoe-y. Green beans were awesome- crisp, nicely seasoned. The fish was also perfectly grilled, a large, fresh slab of halibut. Simple, and wonderful
Overall, a great last night in this wonderful town. I hope to be back soon. Thank you again for the recommendation!
