Back in the 80's I had one of those "sunset" type cookbooks that was all about Japanese cooking. While I had literally hundreds of cookbooks on my bookshelves, I liked the recipes from this one. Unfortunately, in a move, the new place burnt down and I lost all. And while many books I miss, this one I really miss! And I can't even find a reference to it!
WHat I am mostly looking for, is a recipe in it that made eggrolls. Thin egg omlettes, rolled and filled; just like "NYC eggrolls" dipped in a cornstarch (as I recall batter)that made the most heavenly dish! I have other recipes I want to have again from this book...Anyone know of it????
