Finally a chicken rotisserie place in Studio City, whoopee!

At the corner of Ventura and Vineland in Studio City a North Eastern style Thai place is soon to open which according to the menu stuck in the window specializes in Thai rotisserie chicken.

I would say from the looks of the place it will be opening this weekend.

It's called I-San and it's in the same location as three other ill-fated Thai places. They each seemed to do a pleasant business but I've counted three closures in as many years. HOWEVER, none of them had rotisserie chicken.

The only rotisserie chicken we have in this part of the Valley is Ralphs, bleckh, and Gelsons double bleckh. Gelsons chicken is so bad, so dry, so over cooked, so bland, it might be considered a mild form of animal cruelty.

I'll check I-San out and let ya'll know. I am very hopeful.
