and i must say it was quite enjoyable except for the pact that our party was meeting up a little after 8, and the place was closing at 9 or a little after, so the waiter was rushing us a bit. a friend did all the ordering because of that, so hopefully ill remember everything we ate. we enjoyed the fattouch salad (nice and refreshing with lots of tomatoes, toasted pita chips, cucumbers, fresh herbs), the cabbage salad, moussaka, the cheese fatayer, babaganouch, this cheese spreadlike item that went great with the pita that is really addicting (does anyone know what it's called?), and these meat filled empanada like things. i think they were filled with beef, but not sure since most middle eastern places emphasize lamb, but it didnt taste like lamb. they were good, but i enjoyed the vegetarian items more. everything was just really fresh and delicious, and it cost about $10/pp for a ton of food, plus you can byob. the fatayer is really addicting as well, it's like puff pastry with this melted cheese that's almost like a ricotta texture, and you can imagine how good it is. i don' think we had the muhammara, but i'd like to try it next time. just go w/ a bunch of friends and order a lot of stuff, it's the way to go!
