At least twice a week I would go over to Cafe Figaro on Vermont in the morning for some of the most wonderful croissants and breakfast pastries I've ever tasted. I felt so lucky that this treasure was in my neighborhood, but alas, my treasure has turned to trash. I don't know who was baking those delicious crusty creations, but he's gone and now they're serving up Costco caliber croissants and I'm crushed!
Does anyone know who used to bake for them and where he's gone? Will Figaro replace him and find someone at least decent, or am I now out of luck in the morning here in Los Feliz? Thanks.
