We had dinner at Tam's and couldn't be more delighted with the food and service. Unfortunately, we weren't very hungry. We ended up ordering two dishes: Wor Won Ton and Spareribs w/ Spicy Salt. The Wor Won Ton was good because the won tons were tasty and the snap peas added a good crunchiness and pretty green color to the soup. The pork was breaded and fried and dusted with the spicy salt and had a little fried garlic and scallion. As a rule of thumb I stay away from fried pork ribs but indulged anyway. The ribs were meaty and the seasoning was perfect. I noticed they prepare fish in the same manner, perhaps we'll try that another time. We plan to go again and try more dishes.
I brought home a take out menu and couldn't help noticing that they have an extensive lunch menu and that it seems reasonably priced. I could see Tam's as a lunch destination for a trip down the coast. We sometimes travel with 8 other people. The variety and prices there would appeal to all. Thanks for the recommendation!
