About ten years ago, Racha's was a hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant just outside the Tenderloin. It was great. I'll never forget its legendary fish cakes. The place was the size and layout of Tu Lan on 6th. It also had that Tu Lan feel to it. It developed quite a following; lines of people waiting for a table, all eyes on the battery of skillets and woks and flames. Then the inevitable happened. They moved a few doors down to a larger location in the Sierra Club building and lost their magic.
Yesterday I drove by and saw that it's still in business. Anybody been there recently? Is there hope?
